This just might be the softest and most comfortable women's t-shirt you'll ever own. Combine the relaxed fit and smooth fabric of this tee with jeans to create an effortless every-day outfit, or dress it up with a jacket and dress pants for a business casual look.
We must remember that algorithms used in all apps are developed by people within a societal environment. The algorithms are not independently and coldly calculating optimum outcomes with complete and unbiased data nor are they necessarily transparent. The AI we frequently are exposed to within cloud based apps are “applied statistics” and constrained machine learning rather than what we would generally relate to as general purpose intelligence.
Lets remember too that the caveats about algorithms written by Cathy O'Neil in her book “Weapons of Math Destruction” and many other articles and books are still relevant today. We are watching with interest the evolution of an overarching framework to govern the future of what Professor Genevieve Bell of ANU’s 3Ai terms the cyber physical society along with numerous other similar research institutes across the globe.
SO, let's not worship nor follow blindly and passively algorithms – they are great tools but lousy masters and even worse deities!
