We should recognize how much mathematics enables and enriches our lives. There is also much fun to be had playing with mathematics (eg the key part mathematics plays in our computer games - generating pixels and enabling the software & / or hardware that we as wetware use) let alone the raw utility of applying mathematical thinking to problem solving. Lets take some time to appreciate and celebrate maths, mathematicians and good teachers. Remember that you don’t have to be professional mathematician to like or just appreciate maths. (For completeness the square root of -1 is the imaginary number i - used in radar and many other fields - and the A's in MATHEMATICS are Penrose triangles or tribars - useful in Scrabble as well!)
