Like a drunk looking for the car keys in the streetlit zone we know and assert so much about this wondrous universe using only about 5% of it – mostly the baryonic matter etc that interacts electromagnetically. We think we have an inkling of WIMPS or axions that may constitute the dark matter making up about 25% of the energy density of the Universe but very little idea really about what makes up almost 70% of the rest of the universe's energy density – the dark energy. We have achieved so much finding out about this 5% so imagine what is still to know and the developments that may flow from extending this knowledge. Antigravity drives anyone?
