Laptop Sleeve - JWST At Lagrange 2
Laptop Sleeve - JWST At Lagrange 2
Design Backstory
Whatever you think of the James Webb space telescope (JWST) naming controversy it will be an amazing instrument hopefully enabling us to peer back closer to when the first suns ignited in the first galaxies and improve humanity's search for exoplanets. As another item in the astronomers, astrophysicists and cosmologists toolkit over the next few decades it will undoubtedly be a boon for scientific discovery and progress. We might answer the chicken or egg question of which came first: black holes or the first galaxies? The designs reference the amazingly light gold-plated beryllium main mirror, red-shifting nature of the captured early light and the second Lagrange point (L2) position of the JWST as well as the mission’s ambition to see the Cosmic Dawn or First Light from the earliest suns and galaxies. Find out more about the JWST - including the naming controversy - in our blog post here.
